Christmas at Riverwatch Aquarium

For Christmas, Riverwatch Aquarium and Visitor Centre will be transformed into an ice cold winter wonderland. Feel the chill in the air, see the icy waters and watch out for Jack Frost!

Riverwatch is a fantastic tourist attraction located just outside Derry City centre (opposite the Everglades Hotel) and with FREE admission it’s a must do for families and visitors. Visitors can see and learn all about our local wildlife and there are free activity packs to keep the kids entertained. We have lobster, crabs, starfish, coalfish, blenny’s and lots of other marine and freshwater fish and shellfish.

Over the winter months Riverwatch will be open Monday to Friday from 10am with last admission at 4pm so it’s the perfect place to bring the kids to after school on those dark winter afternoons.
